Our mission is to train the most competent and professional appliance repair technicians in the local area. The Major Appliance Technology (MAT) Program that we have established in our school will be a valuable asset to the major appliance dealers and appliance service companies in our community. The training of new In-Home Service Professionals (ISHPs) is of critical importance due to the industry and countrywide shortage of IHSPs. The demand for new IHSPs will be increasing dramatically over the next several years as the existing aging IHSP workforce begin to retire. The most experienced instructors will be employed at Appliance Technical Institute (ATI) to ensure that competent professional students graduate from the program.
