Grading
Each student must be able to troubleshoot different appliance repair problems. The student must be able to solve the problem and explain why the unit failed and what was done to solve the problem. Attendance during the class lecture and lab training is mandatory in order for the students to take maximum advantage of the program.
Grading Standards
The school utilizes the following grading system:
| 100% - 90% | = | A | = | Excellent |
| 89% - 80% | = | B | = | Good |
| 79% - 70% | = | C | = | Average |
| 69% - 60% | = | D | = | Below Average |
Students are graded on written tests and practical problem solving application based on practical demonstrable skills. Any assignment not submitted when due or any test that is missed would be awarded a zero.
