Handicap Accessibility and Training Opportunities

ATI makes its facilities accessible to the disabled and or the handicapped. A student who may have the ability to benefit in spite of physical or other handicaps can enroll in the training program. Those with lifting restrictions and other injuries that will not impair their safety and employability are also encouraged to apply. According to the dictionary of Trades compiled by the U.S. Department of Labor, these job titles are considered medium, requiring lifting of 25 lb., regularly, and 50 lb. maximum. Major appliance technology is the most accessible program to physically handicapped and injured workers.
